Awaken is a deeply personal reflection on the wild, transformative journey of new motherhood. I created this piece just four weeks after giving birth to my son, during a time when life felt raw, intense, and overflowing with emotion.

Motherhood is its own kind of wilderness —unpredictable, demanding, and profoundly beautiful. It strips you back, reshaping you in ways you can’t anticipate, and calls on strength, patience, and vulnerability all at once.

Awaken represents the moment of blooming into a new version of myself, embracing the chaos and wonder of this new chapter with open arms.

On the canvas, I have framed a. postcard in the shape of a heart — a space where I can send myself positive messages on the tough days, a small reminder that even in life’s wildest moments, there is love, growth, and light.
